Fight Like A Girl

This year Provo high girls basketball hosted there 3rd annual fight against cancer.  This year it really hit home,  all of the money we earned went towards our coaches sister (Angela) who was diagnosed with cancer in November.  Angela's daughter is one of our very good friends so my whole team was very excited to help support her and her family.  The night was a success!  we earned around $4000 to give straight the the Hansen Family.

Luckily enough Angela was able to come home from the hospital about a week after the game so a few girls from the team got to go to her home to give her the check. Our team was able to face time with her for a  little while and we got to tell her to stay strong and to keep fighting.

Angela was doing well till she found out the cancer had spread to her brain and she didn't have much longer to live.  After putting up a tough fight Angela peacefully passed away last night with her family close by.  She is now in heaven with her dad watching over Skylee her daughter and her family.  I am very grateful to be apart of such an amazing school for supporting sky and her family.  When me and one of my best friends found out the news we sent out a text to 25 people saying we should dress up and fast to support the Hansen family on Friday.  Within 4 hours everyone new about it and today everyone was dressed up at Provo High in there Sunday best today.

I am so grateful for the knowledge i have of the gospel and how families can be together forever.  I'm thankful to have Skylee as such a close friend. Pray for the Hansen family. xoxo love Jenny
